What characterizes an "SQL"?
A Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) is a potential customer who has been qualified by marketing and has already shown concrete interest in your products or services. In other words, your sales employee can take action immediately.
Example of a SQL
“Hello dear tiler Müller team, I would like to renovate my bathroom and need new mosaic tiles. Can you tell me how much it costs to tile an 8 square meter bathroom?”
We calculate with "TCPL".
With the “total cost per lead”, we not only take into account the direct costs per lead (e.g. media budget), but also the amortization of the one-off creation costs and the costs for your sales staff. We assume industry-standard prices and salaries.
What will an online lead cost me in my industry?
In the adjacent table you can see the median costs for an SQL on the Internet, sector by sector. To minimize the impact of outliers, we calculate the median costs instead of the average costs.
The costs are stated as “Total Cost per Lead” (TCPL). This includes not only the direct costs per lead (such as the media budget), but also the amortization for one-off creation costs and the costs for internal personnel, if they are responsible for lead generation. The costs for the creation of advertising campaigns and personnel costs are based on industry-standard prices and salaries.
The CPL is based on the verified information provided by companies that participate voluntarily. If you know your CPL, please get in touch with us. We will check whether you have really recorded all costs and whether the leads are actually “Sales Qualified Leads”. We will then update the total cost per lead for your industry based on your details. Your data will of course be completely anonymized beforehand.
